SESSION WAIVER
Please read the following terms carefully before signing.
Olea Studios Session Agreement & Waiver
1. Liability Release
By entering Olea Studios (“the Studio”), you voluntarily assume all risks associated with your visit and participation in any recording session, production meeting, or related activity. The Studio, its owner, and any affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property occurring on the premises, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
2. Recording Consent
You consent to the recording of your voice, likeness, and performance during your session at the Studio. These recordings may be used for the purposes agreed upon between you and the Studio, including but not limited to music production, mixing, and mastering.
3. Usage Rights
With your opt-in consent (indicated below), the Studio may use brief excerpts of your session, including audio clips, behind-the-scenes photos, or video, for promotional purposes on social media, the Studio's website, or marketing materials. You may opt out of promotional use at any time by contacting the Studio in writing.
4. Equipment Responsibility
You agree to handle all Studio equipment with reasonable care. You shall be financially responsible for any damage to Studio equipment, instruments, or property caused by your negligence or intentional misuse during your session.
5. Payment & Cancellation
Session rates are agreed upon prior to booking. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session rate. No-shows forfeit the full session fee.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of your original compositions, lyrics, and creative works produced during your session. The Studio does not claim any ownership rights over your intellectual property unless a separate written agreement is executed between the parties.
7. Conduct
All visitors and clients are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior while on Studio premises. The Studio reserves the right to terminate any session immediately, without refund, if a client engages in disruptive, threatening, or disrespectful conduct. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.
